Port St. Lucie SC took another important step forward this week following a positive meeting with the United Soccer League (USL) as the club continues preparations for its professional debut in the 2027 season.
The visit provided an opportunity to continue strengthening the relationship with the league while discussing the club’s vision, long-term plans, and continued growth both on and off the field.
The delegation included Port St. Lucie SC Founder and CEO Gustavo Suárez, COO Diego Delledonne, Sporting Director Bernardo Romeo, CRO Sean McDaniel, and Sports Attorney Alex Rojas, along with representatives from the USL leadership team, including individual discussions with their league counterparts across key areas.
“We are grateful to the USL for the warm welcome, the continued support, and the confidence in our vision as we continue preparing for this important next step for the club and the community,” said Gustavo Suárez.
Since its launch, Port St. Lucie SC has focused on building a strong foundation centered around community, player development, and a long-term commitment to professional soccer on the Treasure Coast.
The club continues to make progress across multiple areas, including sporting operations, academy development, partnerships, fan engagement, and infrastructure, as preparations continue for the 2027 season.
More updates regarding the club’s professional debut will be shared in the coming months.
