Port St. Lucie SC is bringing competition from the pitch to the screen with the launch of the inaugural Luca FC Cup, an esports tournament run using the EA FC game and designed for players ready to test their skills and play for glory.

The tournament will bring together gamers, soccer fans, and members of the local community for an exciting experience featuring intense matchups, competitive gameplay, and exciting prizes.

Participation was limited and all spots have now been filled. The entry fee was $20 and is used solely to help cover tournament organization costs. All prizes are fixed and funded separately by Port St. Lucie SC. Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of registration.

Named after Port St. Lucie SC’s mascot, the Luca FC Cup reflects the club’s commitment to creating engaging experiences that connect supporters both on and off the field.

Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or simply looking to test yourself against other players, the Luca FC Cup will offer a unique opportunity to be part of the club’s growing community.

The Road to the Trophy

The tournament will feature up to 32 players competing in an individual 1-vs-1 format using the EA FC game.

Participants will begin in a group stage, with players divided into eight groups of four. The top two players from each group will advance to the knockout rounds, where the tournament will continue through the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final.

Matches will be played on current-generation platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with cross-play enabled for all participants. Players using PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S must have an active PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass subscription, as applicable, to participate in online matches.

Players must be located in the United States or be able to compete on U.S.-based servers.

Along with the chance to become the inaugural Luca FC Cup champion, participants will have the opportunity to earn exciting rewards and official Port St. Lucie SC merchandise. All prizes are fixed and provided by Port St. Lucie SC.

Tournament Schedule

The Luca FC Cup will run from July 24 through August 3, beginning with the group stage and concluding with the tournament final.

Registration Closed

Players interested in participating secured their spots by completing the official registration form and paying the $20 entry fee.
