Port St. Lucie SC continued moving forward in its preparations for the 2027 season following a productive visit from representatives of the United Soccer League (USL) to the club’s offices.
The visit included a series of working sessions across key areas of the organization, as well as a shared lunch that provided another opportunity for Port St. Lucie SC staff and USL representatives to connect, review progress, align priorities, and discuss the next steps toward the club’s inaugural professional season.

The day’s agenda covered front office operations and staffing, corporate partnerships, ticketing, marketing and communications, finance and administration, and community and fan engagement.
The discussions offered each department the opportunity to share its current progress, outline short- and long-term priorities, and work directly with its USL counterparts as the club continues building the structure needed to operate at the professional level.

“This was an important opportunity to bring our teams together, review where we are today, and continue aligning our work with the USL as we move closer to 2027,” said Port St. Lucie SC Founder & CEO Gustavo Suárez. “We are making progress across every area of the club, and visits like this help us remain focused on the work ahead.”
The club shared updates regarding its organizational development, commercial strategy, ticketing initiatives, marketing plans, and continued efforts to strengthen its connection with the Port St. Lucie community.
As Port St. Lucie SC moves from planning into execution, it remains focused on growing its fan and partner base, strengthening its internal operations, and creating a strong foundation for the community’s first professional soccer experience.
The meeting marked another important step in the club’s ongoing collaboration with the USL. Port St. Lucie SC thanks the league representatives for their time and continued support, as well as Port St. Lucie City Manager Jesus Merejo for joining the meeting and contributing to the day’s discussions.
More updates on the club’s progress will be shared in the coming months.
