Port St. Lucie Sports Club proudly took part in the Give a Kid a Toy Community Event (Sports Edition), organized by the Character Through Sports Foundation, reinforcing the club’s long-standing commitment to giving back to the local community and using soccer as a tool to inspire and connect.
The event was held last Sunday at Sportsman’s Park in Port St. Lucie, bringing together families for an afternoon filled with sports, smiles, and shared moments.
As part of this initiative, Port St. Lucie SC coaches led soccer clinics and played with the children, creating a fun and relaxed environment where kids could enjoy the game and spend a special afternoon.
A highlight of the day was the first official live appearance of Luca, the club’s mascot. Luca interacted with children and helped distribute backpacks with soccer balls, adding excitement and surprise to the experience and making the day even more memorable for everyone.
Beyond competition, Port St. Lucie Sports Club aims to create meaningful moments, promote values such as teamwork and confidence, and ensure that soccer remains accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Because every child deserves the joy of the game.
A special thanks to Nick Messina, from the Character Through Sports Foundation, for welcoming the club and opening the doors to be part of this community experience.
