Port St. Lucie SC will take part in the USL Academy competition for the first time this season, marking the Academy’s debut in an official league environment and a major milestone not only for the club, but for the entire Treasure Coast region.
As this new chapter begins, players now have the opportunity to join the journey, with registration for upcoming USL Academy tryouts officially open.
The South Florida Division
Following the league’s official division alignment announcement, Port St. Lucie SC has been placed in the South Florida Division, where the team will face:
- FC Miami
- Fort Lauderdale
- United FC
- Hollywood FC
- Miami AC
- Miami FC
This environment will provide consistent, high-level match experience, allowing our homegrown talent to develop in meaningful game situations against the strongest teams in the region.

The Path to Pro
The USL Academy platform is designed to bridge the gap between youth and professional soccer. For Port St. Lucie SC, this is a true Path to Pro, a structured environment where a player competing in the Academy today can realistically aim for the First Team tomorrow.
As the first USL Academy in the Treasure Coast, this initiative opens new doors for local players to access a professional development pathway without leaving the region.
